Morac Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I messed up a few things in my settings that I can't figure out how to undo (it involved making an addon domain with the same username as my main username, and the backend not being able to tell the difference between them enough to let me undo that), and I was hoping you guys could just wipe the whole account back to factory defaults. My work on the site other than that has been very minor, so I figure it would be better to just start from scratch. Many thanks in advance! -Morac EDIT: Durr, forgot to add that my account name is 'Morac' and my domain is 'morac.heliohost.org'.
Byron Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 We can't reset your account to the original settings but what we can do is delete your account and you can register again. But you might want to think about this first? Do you realize that a username for an addon domain looks something like this? username@domain.co.cc You should be able to delete the addon domain from your cpnael without even using the username of the addon domain.
Morac Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 Hmmm... thanks for the tip. I'll give it a looksie and get back to you. Seems to be a no-go. The cPanel doesn't think there are any addon domains configured. I didn't even want to set up an addon domain, I did so under the impression that I was configuring a parked domain (that'll teach me to leap before I look, I suppose), and the only way I can tell that something is still a bit messed up at the backend is that I can't set up a parked domain for 'morac.net' (a domain that I have paid for). It throws up the error message 'morac.net is already configured' (which I have been assuming is because that is the domain that I used when setting up the addon domain). If you have any other suggestions for me to try before we resort to deleting and recreating the account, they would be much appreciated.
