bombzen Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 According to the FAQ: Q. When I go to the Signup page, it says that the maximum signups for today has been reached? A. So the server doesn't get stressed out, there is a limit on how many signups per day. Try again tomorrow, after 00:00. Time is Pacific Daylight Time. It says try again after 00:00, which is Pacific time. I'm on eastern, so that's 3:00 AM for me. I want to try to use this great service, but I don't want to have to get up and enter my information at 3:00 AM. This morning I entered the information at 7:30 Eastern time, which is 4:30 Pacific time, and it STILL said signup limit has been reached. Is there really a problem with signups so big that there's less that 5 hours of a 24 Hour day to submit one? Sorry, but I want to use this service, and I can't sign up for it. Is there a way I can sign up without getting up at 3:00 AM?

I set my alarm clock for that time and filled out all the boxes on my iPod and just had it waiting until 3AM when I could submit it.
Guest Geoff Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Waking up early really isn't that bad, just 10 minutes if you keep your computer on sleep. Then, back to bed. The reason for this is that you are not the only one wanting to use heliohost, and If we let everyone sign up, then we could not keep up with the amount of people signing up. (Right now, there are about 100 accounts wating to be created, much better than 900 accounts, which was last week)
