notspartacus Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Hi, apologies if this is stupidly simple or covered somewhere else. I volunteered to set up a website for a not for profit group...have worked with websites before, but never had to worry about hosting! I registered the name bagsofcreativity.org with another company, then wanted to move to have it hosted here, so set up a username bagsbags. Got your email Your hosting account at HelioHost has been added to the creation queue. Here is your account information: Username: bagsbags (note: case sensitive!) Password: ************** Domain: bagsofcreativity.org Control Panel URL: http://bagsofcreativity.org/cpanel But I think the domain needs to be transferred to you as well, as I can't seem to do anything with it: is there another step I need to do? As I say, probably stupidly simple....
eniedoc Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 hello man, i just wanted to tell you that you shouldnt post your password! your acc could be compromised! edit the post and delete that! about the domain you need to set the nameservers at your domain control panel, those nameservers are ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org, then you enter the domain in your cpanel config once its activated...
jje Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 There's no such thing as a stupid question..... But they're easiest to answer! Just change your nameservers to what eniedoc said, but you don't need to do anythin in your cPanel config. It can take around 48 hours to make your account active.
