grohe43 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I am trying to use simplepress for wordpress but the icons aren't loading. I have been trying to figure it out from simplepress support, but couldn't get anywhere (http://simple-press.com/support-forum/simplepress-version-4-3-0/images-broken/) What could it be? Brian Also there is a screenshot of the problem in the thread I linked above.
Guest Geoff Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Problem demo at: http://lrdev.cz.cc/forum/ It appears as though the images are being blocked by PHP code. In other words, WordPress is blocking them or something.

I had to upload the screenshot multiple times to get it to work. Would uploading with another ftp client solve this problem? Brian P.S. Thanks Geoff for trying to help
Guest Geoff Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 You can use CPanel's file manager to manage your files, or you can use another file manager, like the ones below: http://ajaxplorer.info/ http://phpanywhere.net/ (hosted) (buggy) You can also upload via webDAV, which is called "Web Disk" in CPanel. If your files are becoming corrupt when uploading via FTP, I would recommend trying FTPS (Secure). What might be happening is some bad router is corrupting your files, and FTPS ensures that your files are not corrupted during transfer.

However, be aware that FTPS and SFTP are not supported on HelioHost's servers.
grohe43 Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 I got everything working with gftp. It is weird, all the files were missing a few bytes of data. I guess I have to use gftp or fireftp. Brian
