majazac Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 my mother language is portuguese and i speak french and english...
HerLoss Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I'm currently learning latin, and I know tidbits of russian, but of course it shouldnt be too hard to figure out that I also know english.
HerLoss Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Yeah, but I know so little I've only used it once. I was standing outside a hotel in connecticut and there were a bunch of guys out there smoking. I said to them "Those things are going to kill you you know..." and they just looked at me and started talking in russian. When I finished my cig I waved to them and said "do svidaniya" and they just looked at me again. The way they looked at me I figure they were talking about me and calling me a [bleeped!] and such in russian and now dont know if I knew what they were saying or not.
majazac Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 thats so good to do... my sis did it with people talking in french... except that she understood what they were saying. they were talking bad about the service of the store that she was working on... Â you only know "do svidaniya"?? that i know too... i watched Anastasia, you know...
HerLoss Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 I diddnt... lol. My family's russian, so I'm kinda supposed to know a little bit at least.
myscrnnm II Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I natively speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese. And I'm learning Japanese. And I'm thinking about learning German.

Spaceman3750 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 russian family??? nice... have you ever been in Russia?? Do you know russian traditions??? OOH!! Let me take a shot!! Is one of their traditions sacrificing people named myscrnnm to the volcano god? I want to watch that .
HerLoss Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I'm not sure about volcano gods, but I'm sure we can squeeze in something to that effect.
