pontus123 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 When i try to access Softaculous or Fantastico De Luxe i only get a white screen. it doesn't load anything else. Please help.
Guest Geoff Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 For me, I get the white screen on softalicious, but Fantastico De lux takes notably much longer to load, and sometimes times out. After about 40 seconds of loading Fantastico De Lux, I get the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1289748349.169782LdAN3FQ6U on line 120 This may have something to do with the SEO tools that djbob installed a couple of days ago. I haven't visited these areas, so I would not know. Current server load at post time was 22.8

Ashoat Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I've opened a support ticket with cPanel about this. I'll let you know when I hear back.

I have the same problem as the thread-starter, namely that Fantastico and Softaculous won't open. I only get to a white screen. Is there something I can do in order to make it work?

Ashoat Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 So I just removed Fantastico because it's been taking a lot of CPU and disk on the server. Instead, I upgrade Softaculous to a Premium license and fixed it.
Guest Geoff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I assume that free-webhosts.com will not lower your rank because of uninstalling fantastico.
Ashoat Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Nope. I made sure they wouldn't... see here.
