[Solved] Search engine optimization (SEO) tools in cPanel

SEO is basically converting URLs like this:

http://somesite.heliohost.org/viewIndex.ph...SID=56060406560

And taking them, making them more friendly like this:

http://somesite.heliohost.org/view/45/

However, SEO involves many other things as well, like putting keywords in your page.d

For a complete explanation, see wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_engine_optimization

(The two other params, "a" and the session, become stored in POST data, or in Cookies)

Now, cURL is a PHP plugin, that it looks like CPANEL is using.

However, what has happened is that cURL is not installed on the cPANEL server, so it is throwing a fatal error. As to why it is not installed, you will have to ask one of the admins.

Well, I didn't ask, what SEO is - I know what it stands for :) , but thanks anyway.

And thanks for this info. It means, that it's not me doing something wrong, but a server issue :)

This is a service that we're partnering with. Basically, they give you free SEO, and if you upgrade to a paid account HelioHost gets 30% of what you pay.

Still working with them to figure out the bug.
