TomasM Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Can I run a few extra cron jobs [<5] today or tomorrow please? I've hit my limit on syntax errors.. {My HelioNet and HelioHost usernames are the same; my domain is $my_username.tk .} Quote
Byron Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Where is it that your having a problem with syntax? Is it in writing the cron line or in your script? And if your having a problem with the script can't you just test it manually? Quote
TomasM Posted November 1, 2010 Author Posted November 1, 2010 I made some errors trying to get createrepo running on Stevie, mainly with Python environment setup. I should be fine with crontab entries, but would like a few extra attempts up my sleeve to settle any other potential problems - or to check (permissions-wise) if this is even viable. I'm only using cron because I couldn't find an alternate (non-system call) method of running the script, and haven't been able to replicate the server environment locally. Quote
Byron Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Ok you can run a few extra cron jobs for testing today but make sure when your finished your only running two cron jobs a day. Quote
TomasM Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Thanks; I was able to complete my testing and get things working. Quote
