Internal Server Error

For a couple hours I tried getting over here, but all I got was:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

 

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@helionet.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

 

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

 

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That was only at http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php

There were no problems at http://www.helionet.org/home.html or at heliohost.

PHP server error. I was talking to DJBOB about this; probably they were upgrading the version of PHP on the server.

Thank you, because I couldn't get to my site, and I was like... whoah! I thought someone hacked us for a minute.

Site is working now.... but I had added a handler for html to act as a PHP page, that isn't working

Yeah, that's mysteriously disappeared off of the server... The Helio network is crumbling... First PHP goes bonkers, then the forum goes haywire, now this! You know what they say, all free web hosts must die eventually...

unless they are ad-supported. I know http://www.lifelesspeople.net/ is a forum-post site that has two dedicated servers, and has lasted for many years so far, so you might want to try that. It might be harder to get points on their forum, though.

This is really starting to tick me off. I am about ready to find alternative hosting if this continues. djbob, either fix the problem or give me a link to the parent host so I can have a word with them.

I just called DJBOB, and he said that he would try to resolve it, but he didn't give me the name of his parent host. He said it was a DNS problem. (??? What the heck is that supposed to mean?)

Yah, ermm, sorry? Today sucks. Anyways, its working fine from my side... this is weird.

 

I have decided to implement a new feature: you can now directly chat with the parent host, through here: heliohost.org/chat.htm. Hope that helps...
