Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"); con = DriverManager.getConnection( "jdbc:mysql:http://www.heliohost.org:2082/db","user","pass"); That is the error: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:mysql:http://www.heliohost.org:2082/ can I access to my db in heliohost.org with JDBC ? how can I? rvt Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Well, HelioHost doesn't have Java so that code wouldn't work, would it? And the JDBC, I'm pretty sure, is a problem on your end. I remember having this issue when coding for Android that they didn't build JDBC in to the framework.
