Bexhill Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 A friend of mine is redirecting his domain: http://www.bexhillbowlingclub.org.uk to my helio site: http://bexhillbowlingclub.heliohost.org/index.htm His company is asking for Helio's IPS tag and name servers for the site, etc. IPS tag is apparently something used by registrars in the UK which I am completely ignorant to, I have no idea what that means but apparently it's some four-digit code. How would I go about locating relevant information for the company? To find the nameservers for my site. I looked in domains and there's nothing there that seems relevant in cPanel. I've never set up a domain before, and they've already bought it so.. yeh. And don't be fooled if you look up http://www.bexhillbowlingclub.org.uk it's pointing to an old host that for whatever reason has stopped functioning and won't return our support queries, it's an exact duplicate of the site I've made on helio since I had it all backed up.
Wizard Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 The name servers are ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. It's in the Support FAQ. We don't have an IPS tag because we're not an ISP, AFAIK, but let's double check.
Wizard Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Ashoat Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 We aren't a domain registrar, let alone one from the UK.
