htfu Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Tried installing three times, getting the following error each time: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8388608 bytes) in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico//includes/enc_check.inc.php on line 378 P.S. - Thanks for being an awesome free host!
htfu Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 I'll try it again in several hours and post again if I have problems. Additionally, are there any plans to make the change to WordPress 3.0.1 any time soon?
htfu Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 Tried again just a few minutes ago, same error.
Derek Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 You could try installing it manually. Hopefully you won't get the same error.
rvt Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 This is because Fantastico's php.ini keeps resetting to an old value and for some reason installing WordPress takes tons of resources. DJBob needs to re-increase the PHP Memory Limit in Fantastico's php.ini (not global user php.ini). htfu, if you are in a hurry to get it installed and don't want to wait for Fantastico to get fixed, PM me your CPanel username/password and I'll install it for you.
htfu Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 Thanks for the replies, it worked with Fantastico when I tried this time.
