AJ00200 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I am trying to setup ReCaptacha for use on my websites signup page, but for it to work properly, I need to make a query to their servers with the users entered form data, and I know you already block outgoing connections on (at least some) ports. Is there an official way for making connections, and if so, what is the proper way? Thanks in advance, AJ00200

Ashoat Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Don't worry, reCAPTCHA will work fine. We don't block outgoing connections on standard ports, like port 80 for HTTP. We actually use reCAPTCHA ourselves in the HelioHost signup script, and there's no special exception set up for that.
AJ00200 Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Ok, thanks for your help. You really do have good support here.
