i love internet explorer, but ali introduced me to firefox...i dont like it that much, it seems much slower than internet explorer

You should try Opera if you want to browse fast.

It kicks arse, and apparently one of the head guys who works with IE has recently transferred to FF for his own personal browsing.

Wrong, Safari kicks arse. Although Firefox is indeed better than IE in most ways.

I didnt say it didnt. For all I know they both kick arse, but I dont use safari so I wouldnt know.

Yup, firefox actually is much faster now, it just takes a while, maybe days, to speed up

firefox/mozilla will never crash, it's the extensions that cause problems.

I hope this isn't bumping or neocremancing (sp?), but opera is now free so it is now going to be a good rising browser... i vote opera

Under the right conditions any software will crash. Firefox isn't crash proof. I ran a test once to see if some looping JS would crash FF and it almost did.
