amirk999 Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Hi, I'm trying to get BlogEngine.net to work on my website www.amirkarbasi.co.cc It looks fine, but you can't open a post (404 error). I did some searching and couldn't find anything useful. It's supposed to support Mono out of the box. Does anyone have any experience with this? Please do not recommend a PHP alternative, I prefer ASP.Net applications because I actively program in this language and will continue to add extensions and modifications to this script. Thanks!
amirk999 Posted July 21, 2010 Author Posted July 21, 2010 its strange, it was working (partially) before. Once I disable custom errors (which is the default setting in the web.config), I get the error again. I think I'll use a more basic/custom CMS. If I write something from scratch, it should be easier to debug. Please lock this thread. Thanks!

Please note that C# on mono are completely case sensitve, and the BlogEngine code are not constantly use it with the name of files or on the module which blogengine need to access. its tottaly easy to go with it by renaming all the files correlatively wit the function it called...maybe the easiest things to do just recompile the BE binary to Web Application then you ready to go..
