[Solved] Persistent 500 errors

Hello all,

 

I signed up for HH 3 (?) days ago and and every now and so often the site will simply refuse to accept scripts of any kind (JS, PHP, PY) and give the '500 Internal Server Error'.

cPanel file managers also take a hit and FTP lags out (cannot connect).

 

Can somebody explain the reason behind this?

This support request is being escalated to our root admin.

We've been having some trouble with the server recently, but it's nothing specific. There were spammers a few days ago, and there was a cPanel update today.
