Fred Squire Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Hi, I was wondering whether you could rework my domain to work with a co.cc domain as opposed to the current *.heliohost.org domain? The site is http://odgara.heliohost.org I have already set it to point to the two HelioHost nameservers. Thanks, Fred
Byron Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I could change your domain to the new co.cc but I recommend that you just add it as a Parked Domain. That will allow you to go to your domain through both domains. If you choose to use the Parked Domain feature, you'll find that option at your cpanel. Real easy to do. Just add your co.cc domain and click.
Fred Squire Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 I'd much prefer it to be only available through the CO.CC domain, hence the decision to have it renamed.
Byron Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 You'll need to post your username and your co.cc domain for me.
Fred Squire Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 username: xOdgara co.cc domain=odgara.co.cc
Byron Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 OK your new domain is now: odgara.co.cc give it 24 hours to resolve and make sure you point your domain to our nameservers.
Fred Squire Posted May 29, 2010 Author Posted May 29, 2010 Is there any way to generate CSRs for http://odgara.co.cc instead of http://odgara.heliohost.org? The CSR generator still gives me CSRs for the heliohost domain.
Byron Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 I'm not sure I understand what you mean by CSR's but everything at your cpanel should reflect your new domain name. Check again this morning for me and if it's still not saying your new domain name I'll escalate this.
Byron Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 You know you'll need a dedicated ip to have SSL on your site don't you? Try clearing your cache and see if it's still showing your old domain.
Fred Squire Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 Yes, I do, I just haven't lodged an SSL request yet.
Byron Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Yes, I do, I just haven't lodged an SSL request yet. OK. Did clearing your cache help your problem?
Fred Squire Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 Nope, it still only offers odgara.heliohost.org to generate CSRs for. Should I lodge an SSL request first?
Byron Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Should I lodge an SSL request first? No, lets get this issue resolved first and then you can start a new topic requesting a dedicated ip.
Byron Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 This support request is being escalated to our root admin. Note to djbob: I changed his domain from odgara.heliohost.org to odgara.co.cc and he says his SSL Manager at cpanel is still showing his old heliohost domain name.
