Question about domains

If I buy my own domain (Eg a .co.uk) is there anyway I can use it for my site or do I need to keep the heliohost one?

 

eg, I got a free .co.nr just now however, that is mearly redirecting people to my heliohost, is this what you would do with the .co.uk one that I buy?

 

(also, if there is a way to link it on cPanel (or where you would do that) can someone tell me how?

You want to use the Park Domains option at your cpanel and you can have as many as you want. Just go the parked domains manager at your cpanel and add each domain WITHOUT redirection. Then at each domain name provider you would point the domain to our nameservers:

 

ns1.heliohost.org

ns2.heliohost.org

 

You should see the options when you login to your domain name provider. Then people can access your site by either your heliohost domain or your parked domain and not know the difference.
