venteens Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Hello, I'm installing PHPMotion and I get an error: "PHP script /home/USER/public_html/classes/config.php is protected by phpSHIELD and requires the phpSHIELD loader phpshield.5.3.lin. The phpSHIELD loader has not been installed, or is not installed correctly. Please visit the phpSHIELD php encoder site to download required loader." Please help me to solve this issue. Thanks in advance. Best regards~ Josh domain: http://venteens.heliohost.org/ username: venteens Server Name: stevie

Ashoat Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Can't PHPShield be installed in a per-application basis? Contact your application's support team or PHPShield's support team about this.
venteens Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Can't PHPShield be installed in a per-application basis? Contact your application's support team or PHPShield's support team about this. Hello djbob^^ Here's the respond from the application's support team: .... "I have this error everytime I install PHPmotion on my host. Your host needs to place the correct PHPShield loaders in the correct place on their server, they do not have to install it for every application, the loaders are in the "PHPShield" folder that comes in PHP Motion, its very simple for your host to do, who is your host? Read this page >> http://wiki.phpmotion.com/PHPShield << see the bit under the PHP 5.2.+ Servers heading, maybe show this to your host. Do you have a php.ini file in your root? If you have copy this into every folder of your site (this is what i have to do) What's your URL? Stuart ....... PHPMotion 3.5 for PHP5.X : http://downloads.phpmotion.com/V3.5/php5/phpmotion.zip I hope this will help^^ and thanks a lot^^ Josh~
Ashoat Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 I can't modify php.ini for you. Are you sure they don't have PHP files you can put in your directory? Most source encoders have a feature like that.

Ashoat Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Tell them to give me specific instructions. What commands do they want me to run? My guess is that if I need to run any commands that you can't, they're going to be server-wide.
