Himan Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Hi, I need SSL for my website. Do you offer dedicated IP? 1. Username himan 2. Default domain name: bestlele.cz.cc
Wizard Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Ashoat Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Do you already have an SSL certificate, or do you plan to self-sign?
Himan Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Do you already have an SSL certificate, or do you plan to self-sign? I plan to apply a certificate from StartSSL.com. I haven't done that yet.
Ashoat Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 You should do that first, so we don't unnecessarily allocate IPs. Once you have the certificate, reply here (or start a new thread if this one has been closed).

Please NOTE my main domain has been CHANGED to lookieout.tk. Admin can help me please? Thanks!
Ashoat Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 How did you upload the certificate without a dedicated IP? Don't you need the IP before you can upload the certificate?
Himan Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 How did you upload the certificate without a dedicated IP? Don't you need the IP before you can upload the certificate? Well, I just follow the steps below: 1. In the cPanel->Security->SSL/TLS Manager->Private Keys (KEY), I generate my private keys. 2. In the cPanel->Security->SSL/TLS Manager->Certificate Signing Requests (CSR), I generated a CSR. 3. In the StartSSL Website, I uploaded my private key and CSR to get a certificate file. 4. In the cPanel->Security->SSL/TLS Manager->Certificates (CRT), I uploaded my certificate file. Don't think it will work before you assign a dedicated IP to me, right?
Himan Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Okay, you've been granted a dedicated IP. Many thanks for that!
