Snuupy Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Hey guys. I recently bought www.snusite.com , and I've added it onto the addon domains section of CPanel. My username is snuupy , and the domain, before I added it on was snusite.heliohost.org. However, I can't seem to use it or make an email or FTP Account with it...they're all broken. How would I fix this? I've been told that an admin (djbob) has to fix it, but I'm not sure, my geek staff have told me that. Is it fixable by me? Thanks, Snuupy
Wizard Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Did you read the Support FAQ? It sounds like you didn't set the nameservers.

I can access www.snusite.com, but I can't create stuff FTP Accounts with it. I can see all my stuff at snusite.com though. I did set up the name servers. It's NS1.HELIOHOST.ORG and NS2.HELIOHOST.ORG. I just can't create FTP Accounts that go xxx@snusite.com or emails like xxx@snusite.com. Thanks for the fast reply.f
Wizard Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 What are the details you're punching into your FTP client?
Snuupy Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 What are the details you're punching into your FTP client? I am using snuupy@snusite.heliohost.org right now, but I can't create one at snuupy@snusite.com. Is this possible? I heard that my DNS or something was messed up, and only an admin could fix it? -Snuupy Edit: I just saw on my side: Main Domain snusite.heliohost.org Can this be changed to snusite.com, as that's my main domain?

Please go to http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/..._pure-ftpd.html and tell me what accounts you see. There should already be a FTP account setup for snusite.com. We could change your domain, but it wouldn't really make a difference. We would also have to remove your "snusite.com" domain from the system, which would take at least a day.

Okay, I see only accounts with *@snusite.heliohost.org, and no @snusite.com. None of them :S
Snuupy Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 Admin@snusite.heliohost.org admin@snusite.heliohost.org dave@snusite.heliohost.org nlc@snusite.heliohost.org rcg@snusite.heliohost.org snusite@snusite.heliohost .org snuupy snuupy_logs Yet none of them say *@snusite.com, and I can't create any of them. Edit: Also, in logs, I can't click "Snusite.com", it's not listed. Only blog.snusite.com , forum.snusite.com, and snusite.heliohost.org is...I can't select snusite.com Then, I see my favicon in Snusite.heliohost.org, but not snusite.com. I'm pretty sure something's messed up....
Snuupy Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 So I'm not supposed to get snuupy@snusite.com?
Wizard Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 snusite@snusite.heliohost.org will log into the root folder of snusite.com.
