Old Topic I am now having the same trouble while trying to access my cpanel. Every time I try to go to http://syst3m.ca:2082/ or http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/ in firefox I get "Unable to connect - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at [whichever site I tried]:2082." syst3m Posted March 2, 2010 Author Share Posted March 2, 2010 I know port 2082 isn't blocked because it works with my previous host, just not here. I did try a proxy (phproxy script) and it worked. Ashoat Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 I can't imagine what else it could other than your ISP. A proxy works and it's working from other vantage points. syst3m Posted March 3, 2010 Author Share Posted March 3, 2010 I just figured it out, I'm surprised I didn't figure it out sooner. I was using a program (PeerBlock) that blocks access to some IPs, and your IP must be on the blocked list for some reason. With the program disabled, it works fine. Thanks trying to help.
