Jamesking56 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I signed up an account yesterday but can't access cPanel? My domain is bubblechat.uk.to Quote
Bill Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Errr... WRONG FROUM!!! This forum is NOT for HelioHost support. Use the "Customer Support" forum above for hosting issues Will a moderator please move this. Heliohost is having problems at the moment ( I think) Have you configured the name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org? You can do this through your domain control panel. Quote
Jamesking56 Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 Yeah my nameservers have gone over but it says server not found? I know they have gone over because before it displayed my previous host's page Quote
Bill Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 If I was an Admin I would check out the DNS tables for the server. maybe Bryon or Wizard could do this for us. Quote
Byron Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 This domain: bubblechat.uk.to is showing the correct nameservers but I'm not seeing you in the server database. Try re-registering again with that domain name. Quote

Jamesking56 Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 OK, I have signed up but still my domain is not resolving and cPanel won't work using HelioHost cpanel login.... I got an email saying my account is ready though.... Can you check it for me? Quote
Bill Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 How long ago did you sign up, wait 24 to 48 hours. If that doesn't work ask byron again to check DNS servers etc. Quote
Jamesking56 Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 I signed up around 4PM GMT, Can you refresh the DNS? Quote
Byron Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I signed up around 4PM GMT, Can you refresh the DNS? I checked and your site is showing as being queued and should be visible in the morning. Quote
Jamesking56 Posted January 13, 2010 Author Posted January 13, 2010 OK, now I have a new problem: mydomain:2082 works but mydomain says server not found? Can you double-check the DNS please? Thanks UPDATE: my domain works BUT I get server error 500 even though there are no .htaccess files? Quote
Byron Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 UPDATE: my domain works BUT I get server error 500 even though there are no .htaccess files? Your site should have come up with an htaccess file in the root directory and Frontpage Extensions installed. If you deleted the htaccess then you need to go uninstall Frontpage at the cpanel. EDIT: I'm seeing your site OK here: http://bubblechat.uk.to Quote
