Garfield501 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Hello, I wanted to sign-up at HelioHost.com. So I followed all the instructions and I got the email that my account is installed. Then I waited until I could enter my acount. Then around 12 hours after my registration, I got an email saying the following: Dear garfield, Your hosting account at HelioHost has encountered an error during installation. The error is: Please visit "http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/signup.php" and try to signup again. Regards, HelioHost Staff I thought, what the ...? An error occured, but I don't see an error in the email. So I just registered again, and a few hours later, I get the same email for my new account. What am I doing wrong? Mark PS. I registered both times around 14:00 GMT+1
kvhc128 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Shouldn't this be in Customer Service or Escalate Request? Anyways, you have to wait until byron, wizard, or djbob gets on the forum.

Byron Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 It looks like it went through this time. Your site should be visible 24 hours from now. Make sure you login with ALL lowercase letters and login at least 2 times a month to keep your site active.

Byron Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 This support request is being escalated to our root admin. Note for djbob: I checked after he re-registered yesterday and it was queued, but this morning it isn't in the database.

Ashoat Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Can you guys provide the username and domains you are trying to register? I think this issue might be related to this one.

Tried signing up twice only to receive an e-mail telling me that my "hosting account at HelioHost has been installed" followed by an e-mail with the same error stated in the TC's post.
