Logain Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Greetings! First of all, I'd like to thank you for providing such an amazing service, even without having had the chance to use it yet, with all the PHP modules, the security settings and the many a supported language... amazing. Now for my problem. I signed up about 24 hours ago with the following data... Heliohost subdomain: http://abentia.heliohost.org/cpanel Heliohost user name: Logain Email Provider used for signing up: yahoo.com I did not get a confirmation Email (obviously yahoo blocks Heliohost messages, which is why I had to change the forum email to even get the chance to post), so I'm not sure if I'm missing out on something simple. After a while, I could log in to my cPanel ( http://abentia.heliohost.org/cpanel ) with my account data, but found myself redirected to http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082, where my account data fails to work. I know that there are some problems with registration as of late (or at least I guess so from the form threads), so I wonder if I'm doing something stupid, or if there is a problem that could get fixed. Thank you in advance. Yours, Logain.
Byron Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 You didn't miss anything on the confirmation email. It only shows how to login and your username and password. Try logging in through this url: http://abentia.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/index.php
Logain Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 Try logging in through this url: http://abentia.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/index.php Upon providing Username and Password, I'm being redirected to http://abentia.heliohost.org:2082, which doesn't seem to like my login data ('Login Attempt Failed!'). My Username should be the 'Desired Username (8 letters max)' in the sign up process and password, the password, right? If so, I'm clueless as to what could have gone wrong and I'm rather sorry to be such a burden from the very beginning.
Byron Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 My Username should be the 'Desired Username (8 letters max)' in the sign up process and password, the password, right? Yes that's right, but you need to make sure that you use all lowercase letters when logging in. If you still can't login than it's a problem for the administrator and he isn't around and I don't know when he will be.
Logain Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 (...)you need to make sure that you use all lowercase letters when logging in. (...) Lovely! I was dumb and used a capital letter in my Username, thinking it'd be case sensitive! Thanks a bunch, works like a charm now Again, sorry for the inconvenience!
