Session durations?

Hi, I installed smf using fantastico.

 

I have set the time to stay logged in to 60 minutes (in smf). When writing a lot of content for your site absorbs some time.

It apears to be rather 2 minutes perhaps even less wich is quiet a pita, I have to write, copy the text, enter the button to submit, get popped to the login screen, login again, paste the text as what was typed was lost and submit again. And so on..

 

 

Are sessions limited in time by the server or some cpanel setting or something?

No, there is no "session limit" in cPanel. Sessions are something created by individual applications; as such, you should probably contact the SMF folks.
