Smarto Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Hi! I'm new to Heliohost and am having big problems with my scripts. I have multiple Python scripts in my cgi-bin and they are ALL displaying Internal Server Errors and have been for about a week. I have not changed any of them except when I first switched them over from the old server. Before they all went dead they used to periodically all stop working at the same time, and then return about an hour later. I have two addon domains and they are both affected. Does anyone know what is going on?
Ashoat Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Can you give me the URL to these scripts, along with your HelioHost username? I know that the server tends to serve 500s when it's overloaded, but it shouldn't be that common.
Smarto Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 I like to keep my site family and friends only, so I'd rather not give out the URL in the forums. Is there any way I could send it to you that isn't able to be seen by the public? My user name is smarto99. Thanks for responding! P.S.-I noticed that the scripts used to go down when there was a big server load, but this time that's definitely not the problem.

Wizard Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 PM the url to djbob nobody can except djbob can see it then It's on the internet, it's bound to be found. Anyways, djbob will not reply to PMs unless he tells you to PM him.
Ashoat Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 PM me a link to this thread and the URL in question if the 500 errors are still occurring.
Smarto Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 The Error 500s are becoming rarer and rarer. When I started this thread I had forgotten that I already had a different thread open on the same subject. I did not notice until now, so I thought that when djbob replied to me on the other thread it was actually on the thread I had just opened. That's why I haven't replied here. Sorry!
