Host Name for Joomla.

I am trying to install Joomla, when I get to installing the database it asks me for my host name. '

Enter the hostname of the database server Joomla! will be installed on. This may not necessarily be the same as your Web server so check with your hosting provider if you are not sure.'

I am not sure, could somebody tell me please. Thank you very much in advanced
