php configuration... session.save_path

Hello,

I'm trying to setup SugarCRM but its complaining about session.save_path.

e.g.

The session.save_path setting in your php configuration file (php.ini) is not set or is set to a folder which did not exist. You might need to set the save_path setting in php.ini or verify that the folder sets in save_path exist.

Looking under control panel "php configuration"session.save_path it is set.. to

N;/path

Looking at the help for this variable confused me... this doesn't make sense to me... surely N should be a number? I've tried creating a path /path to see if that cures things but it didn't.

HELP! :)

EDITED:

Its ok i've worked out how to get around this problem and get sugar installed :)

I am having that problem too, what did you do to fix it?

Thank you.

php.ini is a server-wide file that contains PHP settings. I can't change the session.save_path to point to a single user's directory. Joomla's got to have another way of setting itself up, as I've got it working on HelioHost's main page.

Ok so how did hanochsh do it?? :) I think I may just use fantastico but it uses an old version and the media manager is broken.

I don't remember having to configure session.save_path when installing Joomla. I don't know how hanochsh did it.
