lablogic Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Hello, I'm trying to setup SugarCRM but its complaining about session.save_path. e.g. The session.save_path setting in your php configuration file (php.ini) is not set or is set to a folder which did not exist. You might need to set the save_path setting in php.ini or verify that the folder sets in save_path exist. Looking under control panel "php configuration"session.save_path it is set.. to N;/path Looking at the help for this variable confused me... this doesn't make sense to me... surely N should be a number? I've tried creating a path /path to see if that cures things but it didn't. HELP! EDITED: Its ok i've worked out how to get around this problem and get sugar installed
hanochsh Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 i have the same problem with installing joomla, how can i fix it? EDITED: i managed to fix it, sorry for the trouble.
Bill Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I am having that problem too, what did you do to fix it? Thank you.
Ashoat Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 php.ini is a server-wide file that contains PHP settings. I can't change the session.save_path to point to a single user's directory. Joomla's got to have another way of setting itself up, as I've got it working on HelioHost's main page.
Bill Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Ok so how did hanochsh do it?? I think I may just use fantastico but it uses an old version and the media manager is broken.
Ashoat Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I don't remember having to configure session.save_path when installing Joomla. I don't know how hanochsh did it.
