norincourt Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Sentences are supposed to end with one period, not six. I'm not sure if this is the way to get help on the same topic but I'll try - and if I'm not doing it right please let me know. I'm having a similar problem connecting to MySQL. I'm also using Query Browser following the earlier instructions to use Server Host 65.19.143.2 Port 2086, my userid which is my cpanelID_krp, my password (use the same one for both cpanel and database) and I leave the schema blank. The error I get says Query Browser "could not connect to the specified instance", MySQL error 2013 "lost connection to mySQL server during query. pinging looks good (22ms). I set my remote mysql database on cpanel to my address using a % for the last node, eg: 192.168.1.% Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Ken
