Wing Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 My site was working fine yesterday but today all I see is a white/blank page. I checked, my files are where they're supposed to be etc,. What's the problem? My site is www.feather.heliohost.org
xroft Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Check your MySQL database or re-upload files. This may caused corrupted files?
Ashoat Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Do you have a .htaccess file in your public_html directory? If so, paste it here.
chfrey Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Hello! I encounter the same problem. I uploaded all my files to the public_html folder. For example my home.htm file. However, I only get a white page, no error message. I used my own domain, which is www.chrisabroad.de. I would appreciate any kind of help. Thank you very much.
chfrey Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 What's your HelioHost username? My username is chfrey. Thank You
Ashoat Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 "home.htm" is not the default index file - "index.html" is. Either change the index file in .htaccess, add a redirect, or change "home.htm" to "index.html". Also: Chrome is telling me that your home.htm file has a redirect loop. You should fix that.

Thank you. I changed the name of home.htm to index.html. It doesn't work. I deleted all the content and used a test website instead, it doesn't work. I don't know what else I can do. Can you please tell me what the IP adress of my website is? Or where I can find it. Thank you
chfrey Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Hello! I spoke to the company from which I bought the domain. They answered that they would to need make a name server update on my domain. Can somebody tell me where I can find that? My account name is chfrey, the domain is www.chriabroad.com. Thank you very much for your help
Ashoat Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Nameservers are handled from the domain registrar's side. Here's the best guide we can offer you, but the control panel varies based off the domain registrar you purchased your domain from. There should be an option somewhere.
