Kwedo Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Hi,I've registered a domain at godaddy.com. Do i have to change the dns server to ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org ? Because I've tried to use a CNAME record at godaddy.com dns control, but it just won't work. CNAME Record whatis.riveriver.com points to kwedo.heliohost.org HelioHost Account Queued Ahoy! You're seeing this page because HelioHost has not gotten about to installing and configuring your account yet. This process usually takes 24 hours, and once it is complete your website should show up properly. While the account is being created we suggest taking a look at your control panel. Change the dns servers takes hours of time.Couldn't i just using a CNAME record instead? Thanks. update @ 19:10 GMT +8:00 Yet it lonly takes 8 hours to update the new dns server . No more questions,ha
Kwedo Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 When did you register your HelioHost account? Few days ago ,and it's working. kwedo.heliohost.org is working just perfect when I added my first post. And my domain is working fine too,by changing the dns server names to heliohost.org last night (GMT+8:00). It seems that there's no more questions with my hosting account. Thank you ,djbob.
