Open ports

Sorry, but we don't open ports for users. We have ports closed for security reasons; if we open a port for you and your site has an exploit, the entire server could be taken down or even hacked.

 

Normal "shared accounts" (even that ones that cost money) don't have this functionality. You'll need to get a VPS or a dedicated server if you want to open ports. These come at around $30/month at a minimum, although if you look for a really cheap one with minimal features you can get it at around $10/month last time I checked.
