Gimuto Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I've just registered my account, but I cannot log in. Some minutes ago, I received this mail (without any reference to the error occured) so I tried to ri-register my account, but both username and domain name have already been taken. Is there a way for recovering my domain? Thanks, gimuto. Dear Gimuto, Your hosting account at HelioHost has encountered an error during installation. The error is: Please visit http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/signup.php and try to signup again. Regards, HelioHost Staff

Ashoat Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 WHM was down when you tried to signup, but it's up again. Please try signing up now
Gimuto Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 thanks for your support, but... We're sorry, but that domain has already been taken. Please go back and enter a different domain. and still cannot log in... (sorry for my bad english, I'm italian )
Ashoat Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Please try once again. If it still doesn't work, please let me know which domain you're trying register.
Gimuto Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 no way... my domain is pontapedia.heliohost.org
Ashoat Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 That domain is not listed in the database as taken. Once again: try signing up again. If you have an error, copy it here in full and tell me where you got it.
Ashoat Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Oops... turns out that this was a very rare case of database corruption. There was an entry for your account in WHM (the administrator backend for cPanel), but no such entry in the accounts database. I have removed the corrupt account and you should now be able to sign up. Please try just once more
