FiloSottile Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 In the main http directory of the root domain and of the subdomains there are a lot of files like "core.20503" of 2.61 MB. I think that they are created only when there are php files inside the folder, because they don't appear in static subdomains. But they fill up all the memory!!!! How can i unable they? Sorry for the English, i am Italian . Thanks
Byron Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 It happens when the php goes down and someone makes a request for a php file on your site. It seems to be getting better lately. Just delete them when it happens. Cheers, Byron
Byron Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 So, no more core.xxxx? I haven't seen any since djbob posted that it should be better now.
