kaloc Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Under the (Cpanel) ftp accounts section > configure ftp client > there is the information one would need to setup their ftp client and one of the programs supported is Filezilla. I am familiar with setting up Filezilla and have used it on and off for quite some time, but when attempting to use the SFTP login, I can't seem to get through ( authenticate ). This is the error Error: Authentication failed. Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect to server Everything seems to be working fine on the very first attempt to connect; it asks if you want to accept the server's ssh key, I hit "yes" and told it to store the key for future use, but then it fails anyways. I'm using my normal login name / pass ,.. SFTP connection choice and port 1312. Does this feature work for normal free accounts or is it disabled for us ? If it is, what am I missing ?
Kyougi Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 We do not allow SSH access, so SFTP will not work.
