Unveiled Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 i have a .com domain, ut how are they supposed to validate that? Thank you! Well first of all, are there any files you want to move? Like a previous website you want to move? You can ask for a backup from them of your site, or if it's already supported, get one yourself and download all the files in a zip file. Now with your domain, you have to tell them to change the name servers/DNS. HelioHost's name servers are as follows: ns1.heliohost.org , and ns2.heliohost.org . Once that is done, you login and go to your control panel. You click Add-On Domain and add your domain as: "example.com". Then it should all work, most of all be patient the name server changes may take a while.
