esay
Are proxies allowed to be hosted on this Provider? Could be handy, but i understand they can use up a lot of resources... Also, would they work?
Ashoat
I highly recommend not hosting public proxies. We ban anybody who starts using too much server resources, and hosting a publicly accessible proxy will almost certainly get you banned. On the other hand, hosting a small proxy site that only you and perhaps some friends know about will probably be safe. Just make sure your friends don't tell the rest of the world. esay
OK. So is it possible to set up a password to it, for a subdomain (e.g. proxy.user.co.cc)? If so how would you do it? (Thanks a billion by the way )

kvhc128
What is the point in making a proxy, there are dozens of them out there.
Wizard
What is the point in making a proxy, there are dozens of them out there. The point of a proxy is obviously to get pass blocks set in limited internet. Usually the blocks also take out the public proxies as well. A private proxy has a less chance of being blocked. esay
Quite right Wizard. We have very limited internet access at our school, with most good sites, like this one (and proxies) being blocked. Therefore proxies are pretty much the only way out. That's the reason i want one.
