cPanel Backing up E-mail

Hello all -

 

All documentation I've googled simply describe cPanel's backup as just including e-mail forwarders & filters. Can anyone verify if it actually backs up POP mailboxes & their contents?

 

Or is there an alternative method so I can backup the web mail accounts (I'm using RoundCube)?

I actually don't know if cPanel's backup includes email forwarders and filters. I suggest asking at http://forums.cpanel.net.

 

My guess is that it does include those things, as cPanel tends to be pretty thorough with its utilities. Let me know what the folks at the cPanel forums have to say, though.
