I've been trying to sign up for a hosting account all day but I haven't gotten it to work. I get the following error every time I try to sign up...

 

"We're sorry, but an error was encountered during signup. Please try again later."

I'm at my college... is that possibly why? Its a small college though, I can't imagine someone would even have an account here...?

no I promise I'm not. I'm actually really surprised someone else here is signed up. This campus consists of around 1,200 students in total, and thats counting commuters... probably under 1,000 in residential buildings.

 

So how should I go about opening an account since the signup page won't work for me?

Hi there once again,

 

The sign up seemed to go through, but I set up my nameservers and its still not working. I registered my domain on godaddy, changed the nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org... yet the site is inaccessible and cPanel wont work (on heliohost.org and yourfreemp4player.com/cpanel)

 

Any idea what im doing wrong?

You have to wait at least 24 hours for DNS propagation before your nameserver changes will be reflected by your ISP.

My domain privatetalk[dot]co[dot]cc still has not been activated and it has been 3 days (including the part of re-registering because of installation error).
