Ruze Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 I've heard a lot of people complain about Memory Cards for the PS2, especially about how much they cost. Memory Cards work great for me, I love the idea. Quote
HerLoss Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Well untill they work out a good hard drive for them, or go back to using cartriges like the n64, sega, etc. that they can save the game in, were gunna have to use memory cards, which is just fine with me. Quote
awesomegamer Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 at walmart i see ones that only hold 8-16-32 mb, which is probably all necessary, but the gamecube ones are 64-256-512-1024 they say different but thats because the space is udes for something else so they say 56-250-500-1000, plus the nice flat numbers are probably easy for simple folk to understand. GameClaw_268 Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Gamecube uses blocks, and they go by 51 instead of 64... which is kinda weird. Memory cards are good, they let you take your data to a friends house Quote
Kyougi Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Yeah, Mem Cards are fun, especially if you rig up your own... and then you can dupe the data for backup =) BTW, the cards are classed 59 - 256 - 512 - 1019 But people just call em, normal, x4, x8, x16 (even though it's not truely so =)) Also, the GC's 59 MEM Cards are 4 Megs each so in MBs, 4, 16, 32, 64 Quote

They should just call em 1g, .5g, .25g, etc. Much simpler in my opinion, and it doesnt change what it really is. Quote
Zackman Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 I say bad, I think it is better to just imput saving in the console itself... But then again, I use xbox Quote
HerLoss Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 And unless you want to void your warrenty and spend 10-20 minutes transferring the hard drives, good luck bringing save-games to your friends house! Quote
Zackman Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 But why would i need to do that? Just make them come over here Quote
