External cron help.

Hello.

 

I know the limit is every 5 minutes, this post is also for educational usage.

 

I was wondering if there was a way to set up an external cron to send a command to my cron.php every minute.

 

Also, if I where to use my own external cron, how would I set it up to push a command?

 

Request method? Do I put anything in the Header?
