Hi,

 

Is it possible to have port 6667 opened for TCP_out on the server or firewall?

 

I'm running a php bot (very low profile - not resource hungry at all) and it needs access on that port.

 

Do you think you can do it?

Why not use a standard port? Why do you need a unique port?

Because the IRC network does not use a web standard port.

 

(6667 IS the standard port, generally, for IRC connections. There sometimes is 9000 which is open for secure connections.)

 

Would be great if it could be open
