xzondax Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Today we have put together a head to head comparison which includes the new Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 and the triple-core AMD Phenom X3 8450. These two processors cost less than $150 US and are both capable of delivering a considerable amount of performance, the question is which one should you buy?
Sungazer Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Three core processors are retarded... just my opinion. Also I would stick with Intel, while the AMD supossedly have better performance the Intel processors far out shine the AMD's in benchmarks.
xzondax Posted August 18, 2008 Author Posted August 18, 2008 I prefer AMd, because at same cost with amd we have 3 cores > 2 cores with intel. In my opinion, more core is faster...
PerfectChaos Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 More cores does not necessarily mean faster... Just means better multitasking, (ie servers etc) So if you're a one-window person 2 core is as good as 3 core. I wonder though, why 3 cores?
