[Solved] IP blocked by FTP

I can log into the cpanel, but getting the "Too many authentication failures" error from FileZilla.

That IP is not blocked. So if you’re able to login the cPanel, you’re good go.

 

If you are having trouble logging in FTP account, try these settings and see if that works:

 

Host: johnny.heliohost.org

Port: 1373

Protocol: SFTP

Logon type: Normal

User: <your cpanel username>

Password: <same as cpanel>

Hmm, strange.  I was able to get it to work on a different machine.  I'll have to look and see what's going on with the first one I tried, but it's obviously a problem on my end.
