doube posts?

i have been making alot of double posts latly.

is this anyone else?

its not double posts, its the exact same message like it submitted twice.

i always delete the 2nd post.

im going to deduct 30 helions from myself.

because i only honestly remember 3 occurences.

but is it just me or something that makes it keep doubling my messages?

Its happened to me twice, but usually when my internet connection is on the fritz.

When you delete a message, the helions are automatically deducted...

 

This can happen because you can't load the page, but your message got to the server. Then you press back/refresh and it resends it.

 

Happens to alot of people.

This is a known bug in IPB 1.3 and 2.0. No way to fix it, I believe.

Its more the person's internet connection, because this happens in every mysql application known to man... running on another computer, that is...

no, i dont think helions/currency is automatically deleted when you delete a post.

I actually looked at my HN's before I deleted a post of mine(double like AG's) and I looked after, it did deduct 10 points.

 

@AG- if the admins don't check the logs for the next month

 

I'm gonna check them every day now

the double post, did you post, then go back then go foward? because going back would resend the data because i believe it uses Post data, or w/e its called, this used to happen to be alot on IPB
