Starry Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I currently use Windows Movie Maker for my video editing. I make YouTube videos... and I can't find a good and simple program to use to edit my videos with. Can anyone suggest anything?
Lilium Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Sony Vegas is a very user friendly program and is light weight. Since it runs smoothly on my old PC. The only problem is the rendering process, which takes a long time depending on your processor.
jjpriest25 Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Thanks for sharing Lilium. I looked into that, and it looks like there's a 30 day evaluation period to figure it out. I have the same problem as Starry.
Lilium Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Vegas is a great program, so after evaluating it, I highly recommend you buying it.
jjpriest25 Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I haven't gotten around to testing it, but man, it's expensive! Actually, compared to other video software, I guess it's not really. But that stuff is expensive!
pelytig Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 WMM is probably the best choice for free movie making(if you have Windows). But if you are willing to spend money on Vegas it has a lot more features than Movie Maker but it takes up a lot of memory though, it's manual alone takes up about 10MB.
Lilium Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Vegas is for professional editing. So that's why it's so expensive. But I have a way to get it free.. but that's .. *cough* illegal *cough* Also, WMV isn't good IMO. It usually crashes everytime I'm doing a movie.
