Demize Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I'm signing up for Google Apps. I'd like the mail page to be on my site (mail.d-games.co.cc) but I need to change the CNAME records for that. The CNAME record for mail.d-games.co.cc would need to be ghs.google.com. 3. Find the CNAME settings and enter the following as the CNAME value or alias: mail 4. Set the CNAME destination to the following address: ghs.google.com Thanks for at least reading this. I know it'll be a lot of trouble to do this for me though, and don't expect it to be done. I'll understand of you can't do it. Also, my CPanel username is julianmh. Quote
Ashoat Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 It's not that big of a deal. The CNAME has been changed. Quote
Demize Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 Thanks! How long does it take for this to happen? Just wondering, I can wat for days if need be. EDIT: the CNAME record is ghs.google.com.d-games.co.cc - this isn't going to work. Some oher people have experienced this: if it won't allow you to put in ghs.google.com. then you put in ghs.l.google.com. Sorry if I'm sounding bossy, I'm trying not to. Quote
Demize Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 Check the CNAME now. Yep, worked! Thanks! Quote
