infinity Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Haha. Torrents are good yes. Too many viruses though. I like Limewire, but it still gives too many viruses, and I haven't tried Frostwire. Is it any good?
Tbone Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I just got FrostWire and got rid of LimeWire. Still haven't really used FrostWire too much.. I'll post back after i use it for a while.
slaver89 Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Well, i think you shouldn't use those type of torrents for music. Mainly because, A: They are hugely peer to peer based which means you can download useless stuff, that is not needed. B: Other people can access your files and you could download a virus without even knowing it. C: You are risking your computers security and finally, there is a much safer torrent for downloading music you might like to try BIT TORRENT, heres a link to get you started check it out click here and good luck
anton Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 ive never heard of frostwire before, ill have to check that out thanks
JimBOB Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 They all suck, but I dont wanna admit it, but I use limewire... Its almost safe, if you disable file UPLOADING (which stops people from accessing your computer), and make sure you don't download a song thats 100kb... Thats a virus... we all know that I thinkk.
mafia-thug Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Well i think limewire is not that good.I would rather pay for getting music.
BadMrNasty Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I have used limewire and It worked good, but then it pretty much just took over my computer. I wouldn't use it again. I have never even heard of frostwire until now.
ShannenName Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Both of them will give you viruses because they open ports on your computer and people take advantage of that, but if you continue to use it get port guard or something similar.
Kyougi Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Both of them will give you viruses because they open ports on your computer and people take advantage of that, but if you continue to use it get port guard or something similar. What? That's way off base. Both of them will give you viruses because they both connect to the same gnutella network, and on that gnutella network, morons share viruses.
kyle Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I dont like both of them, but i use limewire. Also, be aware that users of any file sharing should be aware. keep your eyes open.
twistedxtemptation Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I use Limewire, never heard Frostwire. But Limewire can muck up my computer really badly when I'm using it
