Interesting stuff.

The movies have a great story. They have a great budget, which leads to great (well, somewhat) acting and great graphics and great music. The movies are merely OK, probably because the breadth of the seven Harry Potter books cannot really be covered in seven feature-length movies. They are, regrettably, not great (the movies, not the books).

Not just Harry Potter, but in general, I notice people saying "The book was better than the movie" just to appear smart. If you talk to them for a few minutes, you will notice about half of them didn't read the book at all.

The movie is OK for me, it has a lot of special effects, etc. but the actors are very very ugly and make disappear the magic of the characters. LOL

I know it's been said before by many people but the books are way better. I just can't appreciate ANY of the movies after reading the books. I thought the first two were terrible, the 3rd was a little better, and I couldn't even get myself to watch the fourth, but I have watched the fifth, which was okay, I guess. Out of those I would say 3 was the best, but on a scale of one to ten, I'd only give it a five...
