teh silly Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Interesting stuff. The movies have a great story. They have a great budget, which leads to great (well, somewhat) acting and great graphics and great music. The movies are merely OK, probably because the breadth of the seven Harry Potter books cannot really be covered in seven feature-length movies. They are, regrettably, not great (the movies, not the books).
Augus.to Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 harry potter 6 (the movie) is coming soon... but I prefer the books than the movies but the end of the 7th book is very stupid.
awesomegamer Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Not just Harry Potter, but in general, I notice people saying "The book was better than the movie" just to appear smart. If you talk to them for a few minutes, you will notice about half of them didn't read the book at all.

The movie is OK for me, it has a lot of special effects, etc. but the actors are very very ugly and make disappear the magic of the characters. LOL
phoexer Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 i saw four out of five, First two were the best, I was in the habit of reading the books first then watching the movies. i dont do that anymore, i just read.
jjpriest25 Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 I know it's been said before by many people but the books are way better. I just can't appreciate ANY of the movies after reading the books. I thought the first two were terrible, the 3rd was a little better, and I couldn't even get myself to watch the fourth, but I have watched the fifth, which was okay, I guess. Out of those I would say 3 was the best, but on a scale of one to ten, I'd only give it a five...
